Promotional Competition Rules for the

The North Face ‘Women’s Month 2026’ Competition Ts & Cs

1.       This promotional competition is organised by Sector Group (Pty) Ltd, trading as The North Face South Africa.

2.       In these rules, “Promoter” means a person or entity that directly or indirectly promotes, sponsors, organises or conducts the promotional competition, or for whose benefit the promotional competition is promoted, sponsored, organised or conducted, which include The Sector Group.

3.       No director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to the Promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, their advertising agencies, or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates, may enter this promotional competition. This also applies to a person who is a supplier of goods or services in connection with this promotional competition.

4.       All participants must be 18 years or older, South African citizens and reside in South Africa.

5.       The Promoter reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend, cancel or extended the competition, any aspect of the competition and anything related thereto, without notice at any time and for any reason whatsoever that the Promoter deems is reasonable at the time. Should the Promoter, law or any authority cancel this promotional competition, no notice of cancellation shall be required. In such event, all participants and winners waive any rights and acknowledge that they shall have no claim, of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter, its directors, agents or employees as a result of the cancellation.

6.       By entering the competition, participants consent to have their names, profiles and shortlists published on social media. Participants agree and understand that they may win a prize, but there is no guarantee that they will win a prize.

7.       To qualify for a competition entry, participants must follow all these steps:

  • Follow The North Face South Africa on Instagram or Facebook
  • Like the competition post

·        Comment on the competition post by tagging one (1) woman who inspires you and telling us why she inspires you.

8.       There will be one winner, selected across all competition posts published on Instagram or Facebook . The winner will receive R15 000 (fifteen thousand rand)’s worth of The North Face product.

9.       The prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.

10.    The Promoter and its sponsors do not accept any responsibility for any entries or prizes that are lost, damaged, unusable or delayed.

11.    The winners will not be entitled to payment, credit or otherwise if they do not utilise the prize to the fullest extent possible. Any item or value unused will be deemed waived by the winners.

12.    If any taxes, levies, duties or charges are levied on a prize by any competent authority, the winner will be liable for these, and the prize value will not be increased to compensate for such charges.

13.    This competition will commence on 3 August 2026 and will close at 23:59 on 16 August 2026. No late entries will be accepted.

14.    The winner will be randomly selected from eligible participants after the closing date of the competition at The Sector Group Cape Town office

15.    The winner will be notified via private message on Instagram or Facebook after the closing date. If the Promoter is not able to contact a winner, or the winner does not provide the Promoter with relevant and correct information within 48-hours from the message being sent, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be re-drawn. The decision of the Promoter as to the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners’ names will be announced on 18 August  2026.( if they have provided permission)

16.    By entering the competition, participants cede and assign to the Promoter all their rights, title and interests in any intellectual property included in their shortlists.

17.    Participants agree to grant the Promoter free, exclusive, unlimited and perpetual copyright and usage (in any territory where the Promoter trades) of all material and intellectual property in their shortlists. The Promoter will be entitled to use, retouch, enhance or edit the shortlist in any manner and in its sole discretion, for an indefinite period and in any territory where it trades. Participants will not be entitled to royalties or any other payment in exchange for the usage of their shortlists by the Promoter.

18.    Participants and winner shall not during or after the expiry or termination of the competition dispute or question the usage by the Promoter.

19.    By accepting the prize or by entering this competition, participants hereby indemnify the Promoter against any damages or losses of any nature whatsoever that the participants may suffer as a result of the prizes and/or this competition, including consequential damages and economic loss.

20.    Participants will be deemed to have accepted these Competition Rules upon entry into the competition and agree to be bound by it.

21.    Failure to comply with these rules or the terms of acceptance of a prize by a winner will be deemed to be a rejection of the prize and the winner will then be disqualified from receiving the prize.

22.    This competition is not organised, sponsored, promoted or endorsed by Facebook or Instagram.
